Went Exploring on Saturday with my buddy Kenny to keep our skills sharp for next week's tournament. Went waaaaay north to start, a good pick of fish to begin. Current picked up as well as the wind and we started moving so we headed back to the south a bit. There we started picking at fish more consistently. A little too much as even an 8oz jig would only give you a couple bounces before you had to retrieve it and recast. I ended up with quite a few shorts and keepers to 4lbs, my bud limited out and had them up to 5lbs. The winning pool fish went somewhere @ 7 . Going back at it on Tuesday for a daddy/daughter day out. She already has her special jigs I made for her ready to go......
