7/30 Fluke
« on: July 30, 2013, 03:18:59 PM »
Got out this morning on a non-sponsor boat out of PP.
This was the first trip out since I got the new gear.  Went with the Tsunami 6'6" MH casting rod pair with my Peerless #9. Also took along my 7ft Airwave spinning rod.  Loaded up on rigs, 3-6oz bucktails and 4-12oz lead.
Both rods worked out great.  Thanks for all the advise on selecting the new gear  t^
Overall it was a slow day.  Slow pick of fluke and seabass around the boat with junk mixed in.  I came home with a keeper seabass and fluke.  Others had about the same results.
Good day as far as I'm concerned.  Dinner, learning and much needed relaxation   TT^
