Bassin the Shrewsbury river
« on: September 28, 2007, 03:55:47 PM »
I'm going to try drifting some live bunker under the bridges tomorrow night to see who's home. Any reports or suggestions anyone can give?

Didn't make the night time drift, got up there yesterday about 6:30 and found blues to 11 lbs masserating peanuts by the east bulk head just north of the Seabright bridge. Had fun throwing shads at 'em for a bit then went around to Sandy Hook Reef and got beat up by big east swells. Not much to speak of. LOTS! of small sea bass, a few porgies and the blsckfish bite on greenies was almost dead. Better than staying home....but a lot more expensive at 60 gallons a fuel per trip.
