Back to the Reef on Sunday
« on: August 04, 2013, 05:25:23 PM »
Hit the reef, it was slow. Bad drift, had one keeper. Into the beach, lots of action with three keepers and lots of throw backs. One of the nicest days on the water this summer until the dreaded sunday afternoon train bridge fiasco. Tide does have the right away, sir....................................

Beauty of a day for sure.

What fiasco ?

I had a party to go to yesterday, I missed the beautiful day  on the water.
I would like to hear  more about the train bridge fiasco story.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><

What fiasco ?

Had a boat down there 20 years ago Paule...it's the "everyone trying to fit under the train bridge at the same time"....used to get a little hairy at times as I remember...

Twenty or so boats on either side of the bridge waiting for it to go up. Once it does, it's a race to see who can crash first. Had a guy cursing like a sailor at us and another boat yesterday. He was waiting for all the boats to come thru not knowing that we had the right away and he almost caused an accident.
