Good drift first thing in the AM, not too fast and the bite was on. Had several drifts catching some very nice keepers once again and a bunch of shorts for the action.
Andy was high hook with 4 beauties in the box. Mike H. took the pool with a very nice 5 1/2 pounder followed by several fish in the 3 to 4 pound range.
Bite died once the drift got to 2.5 knots. Caught the incoming change but it never did turn back on in the afternoon today. Pretty good roll all morning as a storm had passed way offshore last night making it a little uncomfortable.
Back at it tomorrow.
