Rippin Lip 8/26

Left the dock around 9. Motored out around the hook and took up a nice spot between the channels. Started off good. First drift one keeper and a couple almost's. Second drift, the same. Wind was strong and waves were manageable. Third drift, not a bite. 5hrug Forth, same. nosmly Made a move to the south side of the SH channel with some robins a sand shark and one more keeper. Spent the rest of the day throwing back short, robins, sea bass, and towards the end a couple short weakies.  :-\ All and All not the worst day. My oldest daughter got two of the keepers and pops got the third. Still have not been able to get my youger daughter a keeper since opening day, and I spent the day netting the keepers and catching the short. Again. Thats it for me this week. physical therapy and my daughters birthday has me tied up for the rest of the week until Saturday. When I will be going out on Capt Ron's Fishermen, with a dozen or so friends and family to celebrate mine. chrz chrz
