The weekend will be a continuation of this week’s weather with some additional low chances of showers on Saturday Night, Sunday and into Sunday Night with the passing cold front.  Any showers should be scattered, at best, with less than 0.1 inches forecast at the highest amounts.  For the majority of the weekend, sunny to partly cloudy skies will be present with seasonable temperatures.  Highs will range from mid 70’s to mid 80’s with the warmer temperatures coming on Sunday.  Overnight lows will range from mid 50’s to mid 60’s with the warmer temperatures along/on the water with ocean temperatures still in the 70’s.  Dew points will range from the 40’s and 50’s on Saturday to 50’s and 60’s on Sunday.  So humidity will be low on Saturday and low to moderate on Sunday, but still be comfortable.  Water conditions will be rated good on Saturday for all locations and good to cautious on Saturday Night and Sunday for some locations.  With the passing front, winds will be gusty to 20 knots in places and up to 25 knots Sunday and Sunday Night with seas 2-4 feet on Sunday then 3-5 feet late Sunday Night.  Small Craft Advisories are possible Sunday into the overnight.  Water temperatures have dropped some this week.  Rivers and Bays are in the mid 70’s, inshore ocean waters are in the low to mid 70’s, midshore to offshore are in the upper 60’s to low 70’s and surf temperatures are in the low to mid 70’s.  Surf and beach conditions will be good all weekend with Low Risks of rip currents, normal surf with low to moderate wave heights.  UV Index will High.

High pressure will push to the south on Saturday.  A cold front will cross the area early Sunday followed by high pressure that will build across the northeast on Sunday Night into Monday.

Next week will vary with dry conditions for the first half of the week followed by some chances of rain for the midweek to end of the week.  Temperatures will be back in the 70’s to 80’s with lows back into the 60’s.  Dew points will be in the 50’s and 60’s, so low to moderate humidity.  Water conditions will be mostly good with possible cautious conditions on Monday.  Monday, Wednesday and Thursday could bring gusty winds to 20 knots and elevated seas.  Surf conditions will be good, with possible Moderate Risks of rip currents on Monday and Wednesday with some gusty winds and higher wave heights.

There are still 3 areas of interest/invest being watched by the NHC.  Nothing of importance right now to even mention.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the weather!
