20 lb bluefish

sailed to 17 fathoms today and came upon a fleet of maybe 15 boats. We were greeted with 17 to 21 lb blues for hours on end. They ate everything in my livewell and swallowed countless jigs. They bit right through 50 lb leaders so we switched to wire. By the time we left there were over 40 boats from all over. So if your in the mood for monster blues head to 17 fathoms and bring your arsenal you will need it!!!

21 pounder is not large for a bluefish it is freeking huge!  our largest was 20 .  they were all 17 and up. trying to upload pictures

Nice job....we were catching them like that last week at the mud bouy. All on top water plugs...good times?
