Costa del Mar Sunglasses
« on: September 21, 2013, 10:45:06 AM »
Well, I finally broke down and bought a pair of Costa's. This is the first time in my life that I spent more than $30 on sunglasses. I had the opportunity to get about 50% off of the glasses through a promotion website that my camping association has. They give you a "credit" towards the purchase of many items and you pay the cash difference.

After trying my brother's Costa's for a few minutes on our last outting I decided to pull the trigger. The site doesn't offer the entire product line so, my options were limited. I bought the Saltbreak BK 18's with 400 series "Light Wave" lenses. These glass have an MSRP of $199. I got them for just under $100! They came in today. I immediatly tried them on and went outside. They are AWESOME! Very lightweight, comfortable, and the optics are great. The glare reduction is amazing. I cannot wait to get out on the water to check them out.

I think they were a good buy. I would certainly check them out again if I need another pair. Now, let's hope I don't lose them!

Enjoy them!  I am considering a prescription pair in the future.

I bit the bullet this spring and bought a pair after I did not win a pair at the banquet.  I am sure you will be happy with them.
