oil wreck

Set up over the wreck hoping for some shark and struck out again caught another few small mahi and a bonito I think or is it an albi

Yeah, that's a false albacore.  The bonito is the one you want to keep.  Nice catch though. t^

Referring to the markings, an easy way to remember the difference is "Camo" pattern for Albies, "Lines" for Bones. ALWAYS eat the Bonito!

 
Albies can be saved for cut bait for blues or fillet baits for Sharks (Fresh is always better than frozen for sharks). If you make your own Shark Chum, a ground Albie or two in the mix ...

There should be some sharks out there with the bluefish, before the water gets too cold. Most guys stop fishing for them after August, hence the absence of reports.
I've spent most of my life fishing, the rest I've just wasted     <'((((><
