Pt Pleasant canal

I got down to the canal this past Friday around 3 under the route 88 bridge. slack was supposed to be 430 it never really went completely slack with the nor'easter pushing all the water in the river. Didn't matter though caught two right away on green crabs one of them was dam close to 15 inches. Crab bite slowed Down so I put on some salted clam an picked another 8 of them till about 5. After that went and walked on the beach to see the power of Mother Nature there was some huge waves. Funny story I was standing next the the water here comes this surfer walks all the way down to the water scratches his head than turns around I got a chuckle out of that!!!

I was in that same spot Thursday and it was dead.
