11/9 bass report
« on: November 10, 2013, 02:32:03 PM »
Saturday report: left staten island at 6:30 am and headed to shrewsbury rocks . Trolled for one hour and picked up a couple of 10 lb blues. Headed to the rockaways and trolled with no hits. Went to the ny bight between sandy hook and brooklyn and it was birds and bass everywhere. Problem was the bass were all shorts (24 to 27 inches)The bass were picky eaters but we managed to catch and release about 10 fish on light tackle. Wonder where the 25 pounders from last weekend went?
