Sat. Togging
« on: November 17, 2013, 10:13:07 PM »
Was the 3rd boat at apple pie grounds. Had a good anchor set and some good action for an hour or two. Wind shifted and by then there were boats everywhere. Spent most of the day making small moves trying to get back on life. After about 7 keepers I went to an area I found fluking. It was a good move. First 3 fish were 5lbers. Had fun there for a while with tog and giant doggies and a couple cbass.
2 man tog limit up to 5lbs.

Looked for bass on the way in but not too hard as reports were not so good.

Also at my last stop I had sharks coming up after the tog. First time the the tog almost had his tail bit off.  But did not seem like a toothy shark. Could have been the doggies but it was a new experience to me.

Nice job.  I heard it was a tough day out there on Saturday for most folks going for tog.

As Bucktail said, heard it was a tuff pick on the tog.
