Saturday bass and tog.
« on: November 24, 2013, 01:09:12 PM »
At the marina at 6 and the 30kt winds pushed me hard off the prowl of my boat. Luckily the dock caught me. So we decided to do a little work on the boat to kill some time before cancelling the trip. Sun came up and watched some boats head out, wind seemed to die a bit so we took a long slow ride out past the hook. Found life right away and caught all the short bass you wanted. Mostly jigged but did a little trolling to try to get the keepers. We managed just 2 keepers and at 1 we headed to the reef for some tog. It took 4-5 moves before we found a decent bite. 6 keepers turned into 5 as I dropped one over trying to bleed it and keep the blood off the boat since marina shut off the water. Next time I will use a bucket. lol
