After a long week of wet weather and bad water conditions, this weekend will have both good weather and good water conditions.  This weekend will be sunny with clouds, average temperatures and dry conditions most of the weekend.  There is still a very small chance of rain/snow showers Saturday Night, but not likely.  High temperatures will be in the 40’s with overnight lows in the 30’s with 20’s across northern areas.  Water conditions will be good for all locations with no winds or seas making headlines.  Surf and beach conditions will be good as well and will echo the water conditions.  Water temperatures have dropped some.  Rivers and bays are in the low 40’s, surf temperatures are in the low to mid 40’s, inshore ocean waters are in the low 50’s and midshore to offshore waters are in the mid 50’s.  UV Index will be Low at 2/15.

High pressure located over the Southeastern States will influence the region into Thursday Night.  A weak disturbance in the upper atmosphere is expected to pass overhead Friday followed by another area of high pressure from the Northwest for Friday Night into Sunday.  A weak cold front from the Northwest will arrive on Sunday Night with low pressure developing off the Carolina Coast on Monday.  The low is expected to move to the northeast and out to sea during the midweek.

Next week will bring some rain/snow showers on Monday Night, but the rest of the week will be dry.  High temperatures will be in the 30’s and 40’s with overnight lows in the 20’s and 30’s.  Water conditions will be good, except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday could have some gusty winds and building seas, especially offshore.  Surf and beach conditions will be good all week, except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday could see some high winds, rough surf and increased wave heights.  Wednesday looks to be the peak, with Tuesday conditions worsening throughout the day and Thursday conditions improving.  By Sunday, the week will be much more clear!

Have a great weekend!
