Friday togging
« on: December 07, 2013, 09:46:27 AM »
Left the marina a little worried about the small craft but the ocean was pretty nice. Tried going out to deeper water but the wind changed and we had to head to the reef. First spot on was hot. Had good action for about 4 hours of fishing. 2 fish short of our 2 man limit we headed in to get out of the rain. Largest fish was 7 lbs. Wish they bit like that all the time. Also nice when the weather keeps everybody at home. Only 2 other boats at the reef and 1 more later in the day. We did pass up on some nice bird action after passing the hook but nothing was happening on the way in. Have to be out of the marina next Sunday, really hope to get out one more time.

BTW if anyone is still in the water, the bay had more wood floating yesterday than I have ever seen. Logs , pallets, pilings....Very high tide must have cleaned all the banks and beaches off. Be care full out there.

Nice report and kudos for getting in as many trips as you can before your season comes to an end.  t^
