Back to School
« on: April 02, 2014, 12:57:44 PM »
Got out for another couple of hours this morning.  Things didn't start out well.  I set my tackle bag down before walking down a rocky embankment to the water.  Well, as things turned out, my bag beat me there.  I watched as the bag tumbled over and over, briefly stopping near the water's edge, giving me hope, before plopping fully in the water. fcp

After rescuing my bag and dumping all the water out, I finally started fishing.  I caught eight schoolies roughly 18"-24".  All on jig heads and soft plastic.

Fun morning, but I'm looking forward to hopefully sinking a hook into something bigger soon. t^

Opps, I hate when that happens Bob. At least you made up for it with the catch.

Good luck, catch em up when you get out Chris.  t^

Yeah, it stunk.  :P  I had to dump everything into a bucket of freshwater when I got home so it wouldn't all rust.

Good luck, catch em up when you get out Chris.  t^

Thanks for the report.  At least you caught something even though the stripers were small.

This is why you should always fish with a buddy and not alone.  That way there will be someone to take a picture of the look on your face when the tackle bag hit the water.  hhppy  cfzd
