grtn Eddie's new boat is HUGE.... I MEAN HUGE!.... I'm so happy for him!
   We left the dock around 8:30 give or take and we were off already laughing and busting chops! We dropped anchor in about 9ft of water, sandy bottom, out going tide and then if I remember correctly Rod was hooked up first and not too long after that, the rest of us!  t^ I would say for the most part a pretty steady pick at um, but all small. ACTION none the less. Finally, Jeff, Rod's sons pole is twisted...he knows its a biggum, and the next thing you hear is "Dad!! Dad!!! The reel, it's loose, its coming off"  cfzd Dad replied, Don't drop that reel in the water Jeff!!' thud With one hand gripping the reel for dear life 'trying' to reel the fish in, Jeff landed our first keeper of the day!  clp msfsh Well done Jeff!!! Around Ebb...Eddie put out three poles with three different set up's for trolling; we marked fish a bunch of times but nothing hit. Change of tide, change of gear; back to clamming for the last hr or two. Chris and Eddie were CONSTANTLY working the boat to make sure everyone had a good time. I kept saying Eddie, are YOU fishing... he was like yea I will I will. As soon as he dedicated himself to it, I'd say three in a row; two of um keepers. I know I know... you wanted to give everyone else a shot at um!  ;D ;) Ended the day with 4 keepers! If anyone get's a invite to go fishing with Eddie I would NOT hesitate in saying yes. He set the boat up nicely and put us over fish which is what its all about! Thank You Eddie for such a nice day with a top notch NJSWF crew! Till the next trip! slt

A terrific day! Eddie's new (and soon to be renamed) boat is a beauty!  I had a great time.  Thanks for having me aboard Eddie. t^

Thank you Trish "Ms Fish" for making breakfast. Thanks also to Chris "Cashin" for working hard, playing the role of first mate all day.  You did a great job, especially baiting up Sir Hotrod's hook with fresh clam so he didn't have to get his hands dirty. ;D

It was nice to see Jeff and Rick back on the water for an all to rare appearance as well.

Yes, I did fish bait Rick.  When in Rome, right?  But, I did get my only keeper on a swim shad, so go figure. TT^
