Pilot - weekend update 5/17,5/18
« on: May 19, 2014, 07:17:36 AM »
Sat - Had the "Dream Team" Skunk and T-bone back out to give it a shot back at the stripes.   Made the bait in one hefty two man lift.  "We pick things up and put them down"   Tank was loaded and we returned half as many again.   Out to the hole and we were covered in bluefish.. fighting our way to get 3 stripes...  Arm weary, retired early.  Back home by mid afternoon.  Good day in book!

Sun   Same story with a new member on board... Colby wanted to pop a cherry on the stripes in the worst way.   Jay and Don filled out the balance.   Bait again was a one timer and we flipped a few fresh ones off to a buddy.  He stayed local we went deep.  Covered again in blues  fcp   Got a life line call and headed into the vicinity a half hour short of a lights out bite.   Put a couple in the coffin and had to play the waiting game.   Good thing we did..  Colby locked up on his first striper and the expression says it all..   Jay took turns getting back his groove on the light gear.  Don and I had our fill.   Fish started blowing up on the surface.  Classic moments.... Packed it in at 1:00 7 in the box.  Left them chewing.

Good crews = Good times t^

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
