My brother Tom and I after reading all the reports decided to start our search for Fluke at the Oceanic bridge on the Navesink river. We arrived about 7:15 AM as the tide had begun to fall. There were many yaks and other boaters in the area and we didn’t see any Fluke caught, but we tried our luck and I came up with two shorts. After an hour and a half we left the area to try the Shrewsbury Channel in the bay. When greeted with high wind and rough conditions a move was made near the Point of the Hook where I picked up another short Fluke. Moved over to the Ammo Pier and then to the breakwater at the Atlantic Highlands harbor before heading in at noon with no keeper Fluke. There were no other fish caught, no Sea Robins, Bluefish. Pete
