Out early yesterday celebrating the birthday. Stopped at the red church and managed the first fish to the boat for the day on a Sharkbite teaser, shy of keeper but the first anyway. Picked away at the shorts along side of many of the guys here on the board as we drifted. Headed a little further north with another grouped up boats and my buddy managed a nice one as well as his brother, mean while I'm still catching and weeding out all the shorts for them..
Moved around again and that's when I turned into "Mr Snagglepuss" for the day...Drop and snag, drop and snag, drop and snag, oh yeah and a couple more shorts, two sharks and a huge sea robin...back to the front of the boat and Slayer and his brother end up with some more nice size keepers for the box. I ended the day with the last fish, personally had 16 shorts, from baby size to just missing the mark. The little guys were very aggressive on the rattles yesterday. 6 keepers combined on the Sharkbite Bucktails and teasers made it to the cooler. Long grind to find them but great day out doing what I love to do...... 3 of the nice 6 keepers pictured here
