Back on the Fluke grounds at 7 am our first stop was the Shrewsbury Channel where we loaded up on the seaweed.Headed West to the Leonardo Flats where we were joined by the Atlantic Highlands Party boat fleet within a half hour. With wind and tide together a fast drift produced many short Fluke when Tom landed a 25” 6 pound Fluke. With the tide change coming soon we headed over to the #1 Can at the Point of the Hook. Tom picked up another keeper about 19” on a Dog fish strip from a two footer he had caught earlier. Before and after the tide change we bailed short Fluke one after another. Back in at noon after trying the West entrance to Atlantic Highlands Harbor. Two Keepers for Tom, none for me. Pete
