—WNW 5 to 10 HA HA HA, it was sporty out on the ocean today, must have been 20 to 25 K. On intel from our pinhooker friend, Tom and I started our morning Fluke trip just South of the Nude Beach on Sandy Hook. There were not any type of fish here, I suspect it was left over storm runoff as the water was cloudy with a strange mud that attached itself to our terminal tackle. Made a move to the Sandy Hook Channel near buoy eleven where I picked up a 25” Fluke in 42’ of water using a Killie with two oz of lead. The wind was picking up causing a side ways drift across the channel with the incoming tide which carried us to the red side where we found a huge pocket of short Fluke. Here I picked up a 18” keeper Fluke just as we started a slow ride in to our slip. Two keeper Fluke total today. Pete
