Vaca Full Moon Report
« on: September 10, 2014, 11:11:42 AM »
Well, it's been an interesting past few days to say the least. Went down to the marina to hop on a party boat with my mother and sister on Monday.  Boat ended up not going out due to lack of attendance.  Went to go get some desert since there was no action at our normal fishing spot. Went again last night and got out with 10 people. Fishing was slow.  My mother had a king mackerel short about 4 inches so it was released. Couple guys had a few mutton snappers and 1 small African pompano.  Nothing for me and my sister. That was basically it as far as fishing goes.

Right when we started the drift, coast guard got a call for a vessel that struck a bridge at our normal spot. Don't know how that happened but I guess we'll find out in days to come. Both on board were ejected and the hull was heavily damaged. Here's the link if you care to read. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/news/two-men-injured-in-boating-accident-near-boynton-i/nhJ2s/

While we were fishing, I spotted some abnormal movement in a few lights in the sky.  I watched them for a while and notice some pretty erratic movement.  Definitely wasn't a plane or a helicopter and it wasn't our eyes playing tricks.  Might they have possibly been drones? One was right over us at one point and there were no sounds coming from it. Weird full moon activity. lol
