Where to go tomorrow?
« on: November 05, 2007, 06:35:17 PM »
Ok, I have all morning to fish for stripers tomorrow (Tuesday).

If you were me and could fish anywhere in NJ, where would you go?  ???

Party Boat out of Atlantic Highlands? Point Pleasant? LBI? Cape May?

Or maybe the hit the surf?

I'm leaning towards the Gambler again, but I'm looking for suggestions.  So what do y'all think?

BTW, If anyone else wants to fish tomorrow, give me a shout and I'll meet you out there.

-Bob

Hi Bob, it seems the bite is in the evening.  But, if I had to make it a day trip, I would head to Sandy Hook.  The boats have a lot of options for places to fish there.
Good luck where every you wind up.

I would go on the Fisherman out of the Atlantic Highlands.

Stripers is his specialty (and weaks) and usually does pretty well with them. Did today.

Hi Bucktail,

Evening trip (if possible) out of the Highlands. Second choice is jigging oout of the Highlands.

There are a lot of fish in and around that area.

Good catching,

Capt. Ed

Hmmm...three votes for heading north.  I guess that's what I'll do.  I was reading the reports for the Fisherman.  You're right mboy, he did really well today.

Hopefully, we'll get into them on a jig bite tomorrow as well! ;D

Thanks for the responses guys.

-Bob

Sorry for the late report.  The wind was really howling by my house Tuesday morning, so I decided to stay in bed.

Skolman was right, they had some really nice fish that day!

Oh well, sleeping is good too sometimes!

Thanks to all you guys anyway.  I appreciate your help. t^

Hey Bob,
YOU SNOOZE...YOU LOOSE!!!

Just kidding buddy.  No need to get beat up in the wind that we have been having.  There will be plenty of decent days to get out there.   t^
