Raritan Bay Whale! 10-24-14
« on: October 25, 2014, 07:16:56 AM »
Trolled Friday afternoon with Jersey Joe from the Reach 20 area to the 10 bouy.  Spotted a black whale feeding on all the baitfish in the area between the 10 bouy and Old Orchard rock pile.  Trolled outside the hook too.  I marked tons of bait and some fish but no takers.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Read this post to my wife and she told me that back in the 80s she was fishing in Quincy with her late Husband in a little Whaler when they had a Orca follow them around for a few hours, she said it was so close you could almost reach out and touch him or her ;D She said the whale would come up and look at the boat and then submerge just being curious.
