A very unsettled week with mixed weather and water conditions for the rest of the week. Tuesday will continue with clouds and chances of rain and mixed wintry precipitation, even some snow showers across northern areas. This will continue into the overnight, however most locations will not drop much below the high of the day tonight. Wednesday will have cloudy, decreasing into the overnight with chances of rain showers during the day, mostly clearing out for the night. Thursday will see some sun return with a mix of sun and clouds and dry conditions.  Friday will see a return of clouds and rain chances, as well as some wintry mixed precipitation. Highs will be in the 30’s and 40’s, even some 50’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 40’s. Water conditions will be mixed varying from good to cautious, with an average of borderline conditions for the rest of the week. Tuesday through Thursday will be the bulk of the winds and higher seas. Surf and beach conditions will be good to ok with gusty winds, rougher surf and 3-6 feet through Thursday, then 2-4 feet for the rest of the week. Water temperatures are in the 40’s and 50’s. UV Index will be Low.

Strong high pressure from the Great Lakes to the Canadian Maritimes will build in behind the cold front that crossed the area on Monday Night. Another warm front will lift to the north through the region on Wednesday, followed by another cold front from the northwest on Wednesday Night. Another strong area of high pressure will pass to the north on Thursday and Friday. Low pressure will pass to the south and then off the coast on Saturday.

The weekend looks cloudy with rain chances both days. Highs in the 40’s and 50’s with lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions look good for Saturday, but borderline to cautious, even hazardous offshore, on Sunday.

The Atlantic Tropics are quiet and the season has ended with limited activity. Less than 6 months until the start of the 2015 season.

Have a great week and thanks for reading! Sorry for the delay…
