Re: Update for Wednesday & Thursday

OK, Nor'Easter is mostly out of here...no real headlines! Pretty typical coastal storm over the last few days. Not so typical for those directly impacted, but there was nothing out of the ordinary here. Some areas did see some high end moderate flooding along the coast and beaches took a hit with erosion, some areas up to the dunes. Inland flooding has been very minor. The North Branch of the Rancocas Creek at Pemberton is just over minor flood stage and the Millstone River at Blackwell Mills is nearing flood stage, but should remain below. There were some power outages reported and trees down as well and coastal winds reached 55 mph gusts.

For the rest of Wednesday and Thursday, mix of sun and clouds with more clouds likely. Rain/snow showers are possible and could be heavy at times. Any precipitation will move out by late Thursday and clear for Thursday Night. Highs will be in the upper 30's to low 40's with overnight lows in the 20's to low 30's. Water conditions will continue to be hazardous to cautious with gusty winds and high seas, still. Conditions will improve into Friday. Surf and beach conditions will be ok to cautious. Beach erosion and rough and high surf could make things difficult. Winds will continue to be gusty over the next two days and surf will begin to subside and clean up.

I will have Friday's Outlook merged into this weekend and out by tomorrow. Friday and the weekend does not look too bad for the northern half of ocean waters. Southern waters and offshore waters will continue to be cautious. Winds will be gusty still, to 20 knots or so, but seas will be down to 2-4 feet. Weather will clear as well for Friday and the weekend with continued temperatures in the 30's and 40's.

Have a great rest of the week!
