That's true. $110 per hour and they are slow as crap apparently.

$200  to raise my engine 1 hole when boat was on blocks already and they had lower unit off.

I think I might need the sandblast next season as it will be season # 6 with bottom paint and it looks to be pretty wel built up.

Use the ablative paint.  That is designed to come off as you are running.  Keeps the built up paint problem from occuring.  I use this paint and it last at least one season.  I could probably get two or three seasons out of it by just touching up the spots where it has worn thin, but I paint every year just to ensure no growth.
