Not sure if anyone remembers they were building this but I saw on their FB page they announced the grand opening date.  Hope the store closer to home is not far behind

The store opening on the Raritan River is still a dirt pile. It's gonna be awhile. :P

I guess they figured they'd bank on the tourists in AC. If the Sayreville location is still just dirt, I'd be pretty confident in thinking it will end up like the Cabela's deal that didn't happen in east rutherford

If its any indicator, the AC store has been in the works for at least 10 years.

I guess it will be nice if Bass pro opens a store somewhere in NJ,but my feelings are I will be long gone by then. ::)

Perhaps there is one near N Carolina or Huston Texas. Ill be in one of those locations in the very near future. ;D
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody

Guys, he posted the Grand Opening date in the title.  It will open.  They just held a job fair for that location a couple of weeks ago.

They've been pushing dirt around there for 2 years. Still looks like nothing is getting done.

I'm starting to think the whole Luxury Point development will never happen.

Last I heard the theater building next to 35 was sinking into the marsh.

The theater has cracks in the slab 3/4". The building is slated for demolition, from what I heard about the sayerville bass pro is the ground has contamination in it. The soil is being moved off site, incinerated and brought back. I wonder if the icy blue.pond that was there had anything to.do with it.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
