Wreck Anchor review
« on: January 15, 2015, 12:26:08 PM »
This past season I purchased a new wreck anchor made here right in NJ by a local fisherman.  The Anchor man wreck  anchors.

http://www.chucktheanchorman.com/

They come in two  sizes 12lb for boats up to 26'   $69.99 and the 18lb which I purchased for boats up to 45'   $99.99.  I went to the Tacklebox in Hazlet to make the purchase in the morning but they were out of the large size.  I left my cell Number and Phil called me back that afternoon saying he called the anchorman and he drove up and dropped off a couple to the store.  "Great service"
The wreck anchor is made of rolled steel and profesionally constructed. It painted black with rustproof paint and works great.
Check out the websight more details about the wreck anchor.
I am not affiliated with this product.  Just want to let you know it's made well. t^     If your in the market for a wreck anchor give them a look.

Ed, Thanks for the info. I have two home made wreck anchors(different sizes made from rebar and cement) that do hold very good but it might be time to look into some other products. t^
