So, the end of the week and weekend forecast have changed some since the beginning of the week. Precipitation will continue on Friday, after a cold front moves through Thursday Night bringing freezing temperatures back to the area. Rain will continue on Friday with snow, mix and/or rain possible for Friday Night, Saturday and Saturday Night. Friday will be a more widespread event, but become more scattered into Friday Night and Saturday. Conditions will clear for Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will only be in the 30’s and 40’s with overnight lows in the teens and 20’s. Water conditions will be mixed from good to borderline to cautious for all locations, all weekend. Surf and beach conditions will be good to ok with some gustier winds and surf heights to 5 feet. Water temperatures have warmed a couple of degrees with most waters into the 40’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 2-5/15.
A strong cold front moves through the region Thursday Night into Friday Morning. A weak low pressure system may form along the front as it sits offshore on Saturday. Strong Canadian High Pressure is expected to move through the region on Sunday into Monday before another cold front passage later on Monday. More high pressure will move in for Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of a low pressure system on Thursday.
The week will start off as a mix of sun and clouds with rain chances on Thursday and Friday. High temperatures will be in the 50’s with lows in the 30’s and 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions look mostly cautious to hazardous Monday to Wednesday with conditions improving for Thursday and Friday.
Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
