Hallie Loren Raritan Bay 5-17-15
« on: May 17, 2015, 06:05:49 PM »
Today we pulled out of Keyport hoping to find some Stripers where we did yesterday for the Hi-Mar tournament. Big Al and 4 of my coworkers joined me today. 2 of  my friends never caught bluefish and they had sore arms by days end. Trolled the area first and caught blues on plugs non stop. Many double headers when we could actually get both rods out before catching one.
We anchored up on yesterdays spot and tossed bunker and clams but only got a big skate and some crabs. So back on the troll for more blues and we called it a day. Al worked his butt off helping the newbies Unhook the lures.  Thanks for your help Al.. t^
 chrz.    Good Luck..

Good job Eddie. Nice productive day. New comers always love the blue fish fight.  TT^

Sure does. I usually remove the hook under the plug and just go with the rear hook. Makes it much easier to remove and safer.

Even worse from your browser index finger. Yeah the guys gave it there all but threw in the towel a little early. We got 2 new salties hooked now so it was a good day t^
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
