after 3 hrs at the dentist Wed am took afternoon ride out to SGR/water 61 deg /wind south 10-15/3 ft chop/several boats were anchored for sea bass, weren't doing much/after about 3 hrs had completed the junk fish grand slam:sea robins,dogfish, skates and small blues/coming in the RR bridge was down for 20 minutes

We worked all over the Axel on Friday and found the same. We headend east a few miles and did well.

nice.. I noticed the captains that do not anchor are able to hold the structure better by staying in gear.. If you are bottom fishing, you need to be in the perfect spot.  A few feet in either direction will not help your results.
