Barnegat Weekender
« on: June 14, 2015, 08:10:48 PM »
Made a quick couple hour trip saturday afternoon after working on the boat to the Barnegat reef, Few hits and 1 short fluke on gulp. Tried a short drift in front of bathing beach and was nothing happening.

Today we started on the reef, couple short seabass and one for the box. Tried to jump around to some deeper water searching for flatties and wound up in 80 feet of water where we had a couple nice hits, just couldn't keep 'em tight.

Oh, and seen what had to be at least a 60" mako finning the surface about 5 miles out the inlet.
All your tuna's are belong to me
