8/5 great fluking
« on: August 05, 2015, 09:20:53 PM »
My friend had an open spot on the Monger and asked if I wanted to come. I was hesitant considering how it's been but went against my better judgement. Glad I did. Had good action all day for once- finished with 30 shorts and 6 keepers, the 11 man crew(trip was slightly overbooked) put 48 in the box. Only Jerry would apologize for coming in "early" due to the fireworks trip he had booked- it was 4:30 when we docked. Obviously that's not too early  :P

Saw a post from a local charter that fluking was "horrible" today... Not sure what ocean they were in

Thanks for the report.  Jerry is probably the hardest working charter boat captain in this area.  t^ That is unbelievable that he "apologized" for bringing you back at 4:30. slt

Nice pile.

Yeah, drift helps too, but ya can't catch fish that aren't there.

They obviously were there.
