Upper New York Bay 8-1-2015
« on: August 02, 2015, 01:25:34 PM »
Fished one last time yesterday before heading back up to New Hampshire today. In 3 hours I caught two dogfish on bunker. Also lost another fish which didn't feel like a dogfish so I'm thinking it was a blue. Still a good time.

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Haha no. Fishing from a bulkhead that's anywhere from 8-12 feet or so above the water depending on the tide. Any little fish I just swing up and over the rail. Any bigger fish I climb down and walk along the "steel gutter" which is just some sort of support for the bulkhead. The gutter is only about 1-5 feet above the water which makes it a little easier to land the larger fish.
