Help a fellow out if you may.....

Anyone willing to point me in the direction of finding some porgies outside of Shark River Inlet?

Before the blow I did real well on the Sandy Hook reef.   I am sure you will find them on the rough stuff north of Shark River too.  Good luck.

the rattlesnake, or shrewsbury rocks will hold porgies, you can also find them on the axle or sea girt.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Thanks for the suggestions, I had a fellow tell me the Klondike banks, which is a 6 mile ride from Shark River Inlet, is a close bet for me but I just wanted to confirm with others before I give it a try, much closer than the Shrews for me and Sandy Hook Reef.....what do you think?

Anywhere with rocks or structure will hold porgies. I don't have a chart but I'm sure there's plenty of small pieces inshore that hold porgies aswell as other bottom dwellers.
