Was able to get off work a bit early and headed out for a couple of hours with my son.  Set up on the troll on the green side of the Reach.  We got 2 keeper bass (22# & 16#)on white shad rigs. We tried spoons with no takers.  Marked lots of fish but the bite turned off about 5pm for us.  Headed back in to meet our better halves for dinner at Bahr's.  Not a bad two hour trip.

better luck than I, was out early and trolled many miles is same area without a touch most of the day, headed to Breezy around 2 too catch a couple 27 inch rats, stopped back at the reach for and hour with no luck before heading in....lots of marks...maybe white was the key?

Nice Dan,

We trolled just off the red side of the reach, from SP to almost the 10, 6-9pm ish, lots of marks but nothing to speak of. Nice night out there; apply moonblock liberally to avoid burning.

Finally had a rat surprise us on the way in, chomped a yellow swimmer east of the navy pier in 17ft. Action was about 9:30pm. Yum dinner.
