Trolled around the Reach on Saturday watching other boats catching for a few hours. We tried spoons, mojos, shads and stretches without a touch. Decided to go and mug Eddie and that move payed off, first fish hit a white mojo and when we were getting ready to get the rigs back in bass were swirling around the boat and went 3 for 4 on slot sized fish that were returned as we had no bonus tags. Got another short on the troll and on the next pass we landed a 23# which we kept. The bite slowed and we headed to the barn about 1PM. We were able to catch one more short casting at birds near the mouth of the Shrewsbury. Ended the day with 6 shorts and 1 keeper.
