A mixed weekend with some chances of rain and cautious water conditions. Saturday will have chances of rain showers all day. Rain chances will increase from north to south with the greatest chances across southern areas. Rain will be scattered to widely scattered with a mix of sun possible. Sunday will be mostly dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the 50’s and 60’s on Saturday and 50’s on Sunday. Overnight lows will range from the 30’s to the 40’s. Humidity will retreat as drier and cooler air moves in this weekend. Water conditions will be mixed from good to borderline for Saturday Day, then cautious for Saturday Night. Sunday Day will have cautious conditions and then good for night. Offshore waters will be cautious all weekend. Water temperatures are steady, in the upper 50’s to low 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate 1-3/15.

A cold front attached to low pressure over Canada will cross the Middle Atlantic Friday Night and Saturday, followed by a secondary cold front on Sunday. High pressure is expected to move into the Plains on Saturday and then into the Lower Ohio Valley on Sunday and finally settle along the East Coast through the middle of next week.

Next week will start off dry with rain chances on Tuesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the 50’s and 60’s with overnight lows in the 30’s to 50’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be good to start, then borderline to cautious for the remainder of the week with seas approaching 5 feet through Thursday, then winds increasing to 30 knots and seas to 7 feet on Thursday and into Friday. Offshore waters will have cautious conditions with seas 5-10 feet all week.

There are two areas of invest. One in the Gulf of Mexico and one in the Atlantic.
