Another mixed weekend with some rain and mostly cautious water conditions. Saturday will have chances of showers all day carrying over into Sunday during the day. Any rain will clear out for the night. Showers will be scattered to widely scattered. Less than 0.5 inches of rain is expected. Highs will be in the 40’s to 50’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 40’s. Water conditions will be good for rivers and bays, cautious on Saturday for inshore waters and borderline to cautious on Sunday. Higher seas will be the issue with inshore seas to 7 feet. Midshore to offshore will have cautious conditions with seas to 9 feet and winds increasing on Sunday Night. Surf conditions will be ok to cautious with wave heights to 7 feet on Saturday and then 2-4 on Sunday. Water temperatures have dropped a couple of degrees with some waters dropping into the upper 40’s and others in the 50’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 0-3/15.
Strong high pressure will continue to move northeastward, cresting to the south of Newfoundland on Friday. A cold front will cross the region Saturday, followed by high pressure to the north building toward the area on Sunday and Monday. Unsettled weather is expected Tuesday into early Wednesday as strengthening low pressure lifts north through the Great Lakes and a cold front crosses the Mid Atlantic Region.
Next week will have rain chances Monday Night through Wednesday, clearing out for Wednesday Night and dry through the end of the week. Highs will be in the 40’s and 50’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 50’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious most of the week, with some pockets of good conditions.
The Atlantic Tropics are quiet with the season coming to an end this week.
