Mostly settled weekend for weather, but some cautious water conditions. Both days of the weekend look dry with a mix of sun and clouds, highs in the 30’s and 40’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 40’s. Not much else to mention here. Water conditions will be mixed for locations. Saturday will have residual effects of gusty winds and higher seas with cautious conditions for ocean waters and good conditions on bays and rivers. Sunday will have good conditions during the day, except for midshore to offshore waters will have cautious conditions. Sunday Night will bring cautious conditions on the ocean and good conditions still for rivers and bays. Overall, these conditions are borderline and not to the extreme. Surf conditions will be good with some gustier winds on Saturday and wave heights 2-4 feet all weekend. Beach conditions may still be disturbed from the Nor’Easter making them dangerous and inaccessible. Water temperatures are in the 40’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 1-3/15.

An area of low pressure will continue to track east across the Northern Great Lakes on Thursday Night as another offshore low pressure strengthens and tracks northeast farther out to sea. The Great Lakes low pressure will send a weakening cold front across the area on Friday. Several frontal boundaries are forecast to affect the region over the weekend and into early next week. A stronger low pressure system looks to develop by midweek across the Central Plains and the associated strong cold front should cross the area on Wednesday.

The week starts off dry for Monday and Tuesday Day, before rain showers move in for Tuesday Night and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday will be dry again. Highs will start off in the mid 40’s to low 50’s, then Wednesday will have mid to upper 50’s before dropping back down into the 40’s. Overnight lows will be in the 30’s and 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious to hazardous on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with good conditions for Tuesday and Friday.

Have a great weekend and thanks for reading!
