The weekend will be very settled, provided another coastal storm stays out to sea, however water conditions will vary. Both days of the weekend look dry, as long as a coastal low stays well offshore and out to sea. There will be a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the 40’s and overnight lows in the 20’s and 30’s. I’m not even going to talk about what if the coastal low doesn’t go out to sea because it looks very unlikely that this track will change. Water conditions will vary, but mostly be good to borderline. NOAA/NWS says conditions may be borderline to cautious on the ocean, however it looks to be more toward the borderline side with winds to 20 knots and seas 2-4 feet. Rivers and bays will be good. Sunday Night will see borderline to cautious conditions take over later for all locations, as winds and seas increase. Surf conditions will be ok to good, with just some gusty winds to 20 knots possible and seas to 4 feet on Saturday and 1-3 on Sunday. Sunday Night will have ok to cautious conditions as winds and seas increase. Beach conditions could be hazardous still in areas that have not been repaired and Friday’s storm could cause some additional minor beach erosion, so be aware of possible change in the beach. Water temperatures have risen a degree or two into the low 40’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 2-3/15.
An area of low pressure will track along an offshore front Thursday Night and Friday Morning before moving northeast of the area. High pressure gradually builds into the region late Friday and Saturday, then a weak cold front move through early Sunday. A strong ocean storm should track well offshore later on Sunday into Monday, then another storm looks to redevelop off of the Mid-Atlantic Coast later on Monday and Tuesday before moving out to sea Wednesday into Thursday.
The week is unsettled with chances of precipitation, likely snow on Monday Night and Tuesday. This would be the result of another coastal storm. The rest of the week looks dry. Highs will be in the 30’s with overnight lows in the teens and 20’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious to hazardous most of the week right now, but that could possibly change before next week gets here.
