An overall quiet weekend with borderline water conditions. The weekend will be mostly dry with rain chances moving in for late Sunday Night. There will be a mix of sun and clouds, with more sun on Saturday and more clouds on Sunday. Highs will be in the 50’s and maybe into the low 60’s on Sunday. Overnight lows will be in the 30’s and 40’s. Water conditions will be mostly borderline. Rivers and bays will be good. Ocean waters will be mostly good, however winds could gust to 20 knots on Saturday and seas could peak to 5 feet both days. While most of the forecasts indicate average seas at 3 feet, seas could peak to 4-5 feet making it borderline to cautious. It is one of those weekends where checking actual conditions will be more effective than the forecasts and knowing that seas could increase! Surf and beach conditions will be good to ok with some gustier winds on Saturday to 20 knots and surf heights to 2-4 feet. Water temperatures cooled a few degrees, still in the 40’s. UV Index will be Low to High at 2-6/15.

Low pressure will track across the Great Lakes on Thursday Night then through Southeast Canada on Friday. The associated cold front will cross the region during Friday, then high pressure builds in for Saturday before shifting offshore on Sunday. Low pressure arrives during Monday with its frontal boundary also moving through, then high pressure builds in Tuesday and Wednesday before shifting offshore early Thursday.

Monday will start off with rain chances, then clear out for the rest of the week with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the 50’s to 60’s with overnight lows in the 30’s to 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be mixed, good on Monday then cautious for Monday Night and Tuesday, improving for Wednesday, then back to cautious on Thursday and likely Friday.

Have a great Easter Weekend and thanks for reading!
