raritan bay surf 3/15

Fished 5am to 230pm. Started down at sandy hook with no luck. tried bait and lures. moved over to Leonardo with no difference. Headed in to bayshore waterfront park and the same. Ended in union beach and finally got some action. Unfortunately they were big blues and eating through my tackle for 1/2 the hookups. A couple guys in kayaks limited out on the monsters when I pulled into the parking lot. hopefully better luck this week.

The blues were a different bite than I am used to with them. They more seemed to play with the bait and not chomping and running. Bare felt the hits
