Another mixed week for weather, but better water conditions. Scattered showers are possible all week over different parts of the state. There should be less cumulative rain this week, than last week, but still a chance or threat all week. Friday could see some thunderstorms mixed in with the showers. Temperatures will be warmer this week. Highs will be in the 60’s and 70’s with overnight lows in the 40’s to 50’s. 40’s will be less prominent this week. Water conditions will be improved, with inshore waters cautious on Monday with Small Craft Advisories possible, then improving for Monday Night or Tuesday. Conditions will be good for the rest of the week. Midshore to offshore waters will be cautious Monday and then borderline to cautious for Tuesday, borderline to good for Wednesday and Thursday, then borderline to cautious on Friday. Even borderline and cautious conditions are only in the 3-5 foot range with 6 feet possible on Friday. Surf and beach conditions will be good, except for some gusty winds on Monday to 20 knots and surf heights to 4 feet. Water temperatures have warmed some again in the 50’s inshore and upper 40’s to low 50’s offshore. UV Index will be Low to Very High at 2-9/15.

High pressure will build across the area Sunday Night and remain for Monday. A weak front to the south will try to move north Tuesday and Wednesday. More high pressure will move towards the area Wednesday Night through Thursday Night. A low and its associated front will affect the weather for Friday and into next weekend.

The weekend will have shower chances for Saturday. Sunday could have some chances at showers also. Highs will be in the 60’s and 70’s with overnight lows in the 40’s and 50’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be good for Saturday Day, then winds and seas pickup for Saturday Night and Sunday becoming borderline to cautious.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!

Re: Friday Shower's & Thunderstorms
Clouds will continue to increase with scattered showers becoming more widespread rain this afternoon. Some of these showers could have thunderstorms embedded. Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rains, dangerous lightning, and gusty winds. Rain will then become widely scattered with the possibility of thunderstorms tonight.

Be aware of changing weather conditions!!
