Overall a settled weekend with good weather and water conditions. Saturday and Sunday will be dry with more clouds than sun. Highs will be in the 70’s and 80’s with overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Humidity will be low to moderate. Water conditions will be mostly good, overall. Rivers and bays will have good conditions all weekend. Ocean waters, all except Southern Waters, will have borderline conditions to start the weekend due to higher seas, from gusty winds on Friday. Conditions will improve on Saturday becoming good by night. Sunday will have all good conditions. Southern Ocean waters will be influenced by a low pressure system off the Carolina Coast. This will bring gustier winds to Southern and Offshore waters making higher seas to 4 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be good with a Low Risk of Rip Currents for Northern Waters. Southern Waters will be ok to cautious with some gustier winds to 20 knots and seas to 4 feet with Low to Moderate Risk of Rip Currents. Water temperatures are steady in the 60’s and 70’s. UV Index will be High to Very High at 6-10/15.
Low pressure will be organizing in eastern North Carolina today, then slide out to sea tonight and Saturday. High pressure will strengthen across the region tonight and remain into early next week. A cold front is expected to arrive in our region Tuesday
into Wednesday of next week.
Next week will have chances of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday. So far, right now, then rest of the week looks dry. Highs will be in the 70’s and 80’s with lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There is an area of invest in the Gulf of Mexico, close to be that is being watched.
