Cloudy sky, calm seas, light winds from the South. Tom and I headed back to the Knoll looking for our favorite flatfish. Conditions were good for drifting with the tide as we picked away through the many short Fluke in about 16’ to 22’ of water. The shorts were nearing keeper size which looks good for the future fishery. At the change of tide the South wind came on strong and we got bombed with Clearnose Skates. With two keeper Fluke to 22” we went into search mode not finding another keeper and went in about noon. Killies worked really well today. Pete
