The Manasquan River today
« on: August 03, 2016, 07:10:18 PM »
It was a nice day in the river periods of no motors, kinda of unbelievable but it was... (to choppy in the ocean). We got out on the outgoing tide and the biggest out of 20 fish was 17 3/4" but the boats that I talked to that got out early on the incoming tide did the best one boat a small 14 footer 2 guys 6 keepers before the change. A nice day though without the mass weekend boats..Funny thing every boat slowed down for the guys drifting for fluke east of the train bridge. Must be that Parkway mentality on their boats on Saturday and Sunday. Can't wait for September..

rarely fish inshore on the weekends anymore/you can see the true mental state of boaters in the canal before you even get out on the ocean
